Memoir Course Starts April 1st

Discovering the Soul's Code:
A New Approach to Writing Your Memoir
An Online Course from Casaundra Bennett

Course tuition: $89.00
Course dates: April 1 - 30, 2017

All suffering is bearable if it is seen as part of a story. ~ Isak Dinesen

It’s very important to examine your own story and make sure that the plot is the one you really want. ~ Jill Ker Conway, author of The Road from Coorain, True North, and A Woman’s Education

While some courses start you off with writing a chronological account of external events in your life, Discovering the Soul's Code delves into your inner life, what has been important to you, the events and people and experiences that had a powerful impact on your life. From the inside out.

By the end of the course, you will have a vision of the overarching themes that have been operating in your life, what has driven you, not just where and when you were born, where you went to school, when you were married or divorced or bought your first house or where you worked at your first job. It's a whole new approach to gaining clarity about your life, what's important to you, what you really value. And you'll leave the course with insight about where your current trajectory might be taking you.

Discovering the Soul’s Code is based loosely on James Hillman's book, The Soul's Code: In Search of Character and Calling. The book is not required for the course, but you might want to get a copy and read through it while you're going through the course.

Course lessons will be delivered via email, in .pdf format. This will require that you have an Abode Acrobat reader on your computer. This is available as a free download at: http://get.adobe.com/reader/

You will work on the material at your own pace. You are encouraged to email questions and comments related to the course material. I will respond to these via email, usually within 24 hours.
